There are various types of niche diets to fulfill different objectives. The diet niche has changed a lot. There have been niche diets based on specific type of food. Some fruit only diets forbid eating anything else other than fruits.
Some more examples of niche diet are “cabbage” diet where the person consumes only cabbages in both raw and cooked forms. Another popular niche diet is the “Nut” diet where the person is instructed to consume only nuts for lunch and the usual routine for breakfast and dinner. There are some diets which instruct only drinking soups. There are some balanced niche diets which specify the person to consume specific types of foods on a specific day.
Many of these diets may prove to be effective in the short run. However, some of the niche diets may have some harmful side-effects. Hence it is always best to consult a doctor before starting on any of the niche diets. The problem with the niche diet is that there is a very high chance of nutritional deficiency of some vitamins or mineral in most. Niche diets might work. But overall, a more planned and structured diet and exercise regimen is what you should focus on. Most people will not appreciate this advice because as with many things in life they are looking for a simple and easy solution.
